Kids playing in a fountain in central Perth Australia. That city is farther away from Ontario than any other major city in the world. Gorgeous dry, sunny climate. And no winter to speak of.

Lorna and I escaped to Australia in January this year. The trip took us to the whaling port of Albany on the southwest corner of the continent. We hiked for half a day on the Bibbulmun Track. Can you guess what Lorna's recently manicured finger is pointing to? Kangaroo scat. Only in Australia.
